BREAKING: 52 Senior Lawyers Set To Storm Abuja Court To Defend IPOB Leader, Nnamdi Kanu

   The lawyers representing the detained leader of the indigenous people of Biafra were yesterday’s night interviewed on 99.5 Wazobia Fm Abuja over the continued detention of their client, Nnamdi Kanu despite an order from a competent court of jurisdiction that he be released unconditionally.
    Speaking in the interview, the IPOB lawyers revealed they would be coming to court on September 26th with other 52 senior lawyers to fully represent Kanu.
   The legal representatives also promised to hold the federal republic of Nigeria accountable should anything happen to their client, Kanu who according to them is being ‘illegally’ detained.

The Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) has called for a sovereignty referendum on the way to liberating Biafra. The group has also advised Biafrans at home and in the Diaspora to be prepared for the forthcoming referendum to decide whether to be an independent sovereign entity from Nigeria or not.  IPOB said in a statement by its Media and Publicity Secretary, Emma Powerful, that Biafrans have the right, under international law to decide their fate through a referendum, the same way Britain exercised its right to leave the European Union (EU) without the permission of the European Parliament or European Council.
